Assessment of PCDD/Fs Emission during Industrial-Organic-Solid-Waste Incineration Process in a Fluidized-Bed Incinerator

This study was conducted in a fluidized-bed incineration plant, evaluating the formation, emission and flux of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs) from industrial-organic-solid-waste (IW) incineration. The results revealed that both total (or I-TEQ) concentrations toxic 136 PCDD/Fs flue gas (FG), fly ash (FA) bottom (BA)were ramped up to higher level than those during municipal-solid-waste (MSW) A possible explanation chlorine (Cl) content IW. However, emitted FG (FA/BA) still fulfilled criteria. Subsequently, similar distribution patterns PCDD/F isomers were observed subsystems, indicating unified formation-pathway. De novo synthesis detected as dominant formation-pathway PCDD/Fs, while high-temperature precursor syntheses excluded. DD/DF chlorination formed some extent. Furthermore, mass flow chart indicated output primary significantly strengthened (>1000 times) by de synthesis, 1.25 ?g I-TEQ/h 1.67 mg I-TEQ/h. With effective cleaning APCS, 99.6% purified. phase finally at discharge rate 7.25 accumulated FA took most into environment (>99%), reaching 3.56
